Inphase was incorporated on September 20, 2006, by Lee Babranyi. For over a decade, Inphase has been building its business on providing superior client satisfaction.

Our day-to-day operations rely on our customers, choosing Inphase over our competitors to get the job done on time, every time. We work closely with clients, big and small, to meet their unique needs for every project.

Meet the team

Mike Lyster
Mike was introduced to Instrumentation in 2000, where he started with calibrating Dri-Flo Meters and slowly worked his way up to Area Manager/Partner. He completed his Instrumentation Red Seal-Journeyman Ticket at SAIT in 2006, right before his first daughter was born. Mike spent over 15 years gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience working for small and large corporations before he decided to take the next step in his career. Besides raising two amazing daughters with his incredible wife, founding the Brooks AB chapter of Inphase Electric and Controls Ltd. alongside Steve, Lee and Leslie is one of his most significant life accomplishments. Inphase has come a long way since 2014 and has exceeded all expectations. He contributes to the success of Inphase to the team of driven and dedicated employees working with him! When he is not busy building his business, Mike loves spending time with his family and friends, camping, boating, Air Chairing, snowboarding and travelling!

Steve Mrakava
Steve started his Electrical apprenticeship in 2006 as a maintenance electrician in the Alberta foothills, eventually finding his way into the trade's construction end. Steve has fabricated several oil and gas facilities throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan and became the Electrical Superintendent for Western Canada's first utility-scale solar project in 2017. Steve loves to do almost anything outdoors; hunting, fishing, snow machining are just a few of his favourite activities.

Lee Babranyi
Lee got his start in the electrical field in 1999. He has worked on various large industrial and oil & gas projects in Southern Alberta over the years. In September of 2006 he pioneered Inphase Electric Inc. in his hometown of Taber Alberta. When time permits, he spends quality time with his amazing wife and 2 children, enjoying various hobbies such a camping, BMX biking, dirt biking, hiking, and hunting.
