  • Meet Our Estimator!!

    Posted on Nov 08, 2018

Kelly worked for the Taber shop for quite some time before taking some time to teach some classes in Lethbridge for the Electrical Trade. He recently has come back now as Brooks and Taber's Estimator. With both shops busy it was decided that the next step was have a full time Estimator that could apply for the numberous bids that are available. • 4th Annual Inphase Campout

    Campout 2018.jpg

The weather on Friday was a little worrisome but by the afternoon the rain stopped and the temperature was, I think, perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. We had a lot of kids this year which was great for my kids. They spent most of the weekend in the bouncy castle. Steve and Justin roasted us a fine pig and I had lots of help with all the food. This year we tried something different and just had a bocce tournament and played various camping games. Much more relaxing. Once again we had some amazing suppliers that sponsored our prizes and draws: Eecol Electric, CVS, Philpott Honey, Envent Engineering, ECS Cable and Wire, MRC Global, Telematic Controls, ACL Manufacturing, WIKA Instruments and Peterson Instruments. The Bow City Community Campground is such a great place to hold a big group campout.

  • 4th Annual Inphase Christmas Party

Posted in December 2017 on Dec 18, 2017

I think any of our staff will say that we all look forward to our Christmas Parties. Last year we had our meal at the Brooks Hotel and it was fantastic, so we went with the same thing again this year and the Brooks of course did not disappoint. Once the meal part of the evening was over we made our way back to our shop for the rest of our evening. Gifts were exchanged(our staff really know us and got us the best gifts) and with Kyron and Mike running the mic during the Chinese gift exchange instead of me this year, it was way more entertaining.

We also occasionally get really sweet tickets to Flames games given to us (from our awesome suppliers) and what not, so this time we decided to have our staff and guests purchase entries into a draw for the tickets, with the...

Posted in December 2017 on Dec 15, 2017

For the second year Denita, Jenn and I got to take a break from our usual day-to-day work load and have a little fun shopping and wrapping gifts for a family that was signed up for the adopt-a-family program. This is such a fantastic program that Kathy Irwin organizes. If you would like to participate in this program by donating next Christmas please contact Kathy Irwin at the Grasslands School Division office.
